Alexandra Hudson Simpson was a tremendous leader, with a giving heart and fearless spirit. Our first thespians president, a Lafayette graduate, and Dartmouth alumnus passed away two years ago earlier this week after her third battle with cancer. 
 

Alex created multiple intentional passion projects to support after her passing, one of which is the Thespian scholarship Lafayette Theatre awards to one student every year. We are beyond thankful to be a small part of her amazing journey.

Our troupe is wanting to honor her legacy and passion projects by raising money for the Simpson Family Art in Healing Fund at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital between now and her birthday, September 9th - you can donate using the link in our bio.
